Dear Colleagues, Friends, & Supporters,

In her most recent newsletter, Jo Boaler highlights the applicability and value of inquiry-based approaches at both the K-12 and at the higher education level. In writing to her audience of K-12 teachers, students, and parents she writes:

I am so excited to share with you a video we made when we were at Cornell University last year. Steve Strogatz, an amazing mathematician and teacher, invited us into his classroom to see how he teaches undergraduate mathematics. Steve's class is a great environment and we are sure that many of you will want all of your students to go to Cornell for their undergraduate mathematics courses after seeing this video case. We have posted a few other resources about Steve. You can see them all here.

We are excited and grateful to Steve Strogatz for showcasing inquiry-based learning in higher education using DAoM materials.

Sincerely,

Julian Fleron, Phil Hotchkiss, Volker Ecke, & Christine von Renesse.
