The Larger World of IBL

We would like to introduce you to a larger world of IBL through a series of guest blogs. We have been inspired by many of the faculty who explore inquiry tools and techniques to engage their particular student audiences in doing and learning mathematics. The variety of approaches is often motivated by specific learning goals and the unique cultures at the various institutions. We would like to introduce you to a few of these colleagues. Many of these faculty also write their own IBL blogs that we would like you to know about :)

Matt Jones is sharing some of his technology ideas for the IBL classroom with us: "A few years ago, I got involved in a professional development project for middle school mathematics teachers where all of us were using iPads. Partially as an outgrowth of that project, I started a blog called The Math Switch . In this post, I am going to detail the workflow that emerged in the first year of the project."
