Dear Colleagues, Friends, & Supporters,

We hope that your semester is going well! We would like to invite you to join us at the National IBL Conference in Denver, June 6-8.

We are looking forward to facilitating an IBL workshop at Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton) on April 6, 2019, and to participating in the Bridges Conference in the summer in Austria.

We have added some video to our workshop blog from January to showcase what an IBL workshop could look like (link to the main blog is also added below).

Happy semester,

Julian Fleron, Phil Hotchkiss, Volker Ecke, & Christine von Renesse.

p.s. In case you have missed it: our website now allows faculty to create a free account and access teacher materials to some of our books. We are working on completing the teacher materials for all the books. Please have a look and tell us what you think.

We always love having visitors. Let us know if you are interested in visiting us at Westfield, or if you would like to host a traveling IBL workshop.

In this blog we invite the reader to think deeply about professional development opportunities for faculty. The focus of this professional development is to improve teaching by including more inquiry in the mathematics classroom. Our hope is that faculty developing professional development will use some of our ideas to create new opportunities that lead to transformational change and deep conceptual learning about teaching.
